ABOUT KIMBERLY SWYGERT
I am a psychometrician, innovator, and dedicated leader of technical staff with a proven track record of excellence in the psychometric and health professions education. I am thankful to have 25+ years of experience fields across multiple domains, including performance assessments, large-scale automated test construction, technology-enhanced items (TEIs) and innovative item development, ethical use of AI, applications of NLP for test development, and test security. My research and applied areas of expertise: Automated Item Generation (AIG); TEIs and technology-based assessments; automated test assembly; item writing; development, equating, and scoring of OSCEs and other medical performance assessments; and test security processes. Since 2021, I have been expanding my expertise into the realm of artificial intelligence, including the ethical use of AI in assessment and generative AI’s potential for use in test development.My Management Style: Reality-Based Leadership - Lead First, Manage Second.
