ABOUT KIMBERLY M. B. ADAMS
I have spent my career working to improve the lives of both teachers and education support professionals while supporting best practices for students and families in the classroom. My work in the Fairfax County Public Schools spans a 25 year period from classroom teacher to school librarian. I am a passionate advocate for educators and students. I continue to work in FCPS to enhance the lives of our children and families while improving the school system for the future of Fairfax County. I am an elected Trustee on the Board of the ERFC, our local, supplemental defined benefit retirement plan. I know the importance of protecting our educators\' pension security. I am proud to serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the National Council on Teacher Retirement as President-elect.
