Unemployed jobseekers often cannot afford to drive to their local WorkSource to receive our services. So I bring WorkSource to them!I provide training and supportive services to Pierce County jobseekers at WorkSource Pierce and with the Pierce County Library System. Since 2011 I have acted as Point of Contact for PCLS and liaison between library and WorkSource system, in providing training and services to jobseekers in outlying areas of Pierce County. In addition I foster new relationships with community partners to increase services and support for our jobseekers. As an Outreach coordinator, I maintain WorkSource calendars and workshop scheduling, administering WorkSource Pierce social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube), and managing our WorkSource Weekly email distribution and sign-up list.
