CAREER SUMMARY As my career in the House progressed over the past seven years, I have compiled a successful performance record of taking on new roles, expanded responsibilities and additional assignments, often while continuing to carry out the functions of my previous position. I have demonstrated the exceptional administrative, operational, communication, prioritization, and time management skills to meet these increased performance expectations and enhanced outcomes. Working with the most senior Members of the House Caucus has provided me the opportunity to learn the legislative process on the most practical level, to fully appreciate the cultivation of relationships across and outside the institution, and to develop my policy and legislative instincts and abilities across a breadth of issues. With my firsthand experience with cultural and diversity issues, I am ready to apply my energy, work ethic, legislative and policy experience, and planning and coordination capabilities in a policy advisory, congressional affairs, or legislative position in the government or as part of a private organization’s government relations team.
