Since I am a life-long military dependent, I am very familiar with the military lifestyle be it adjusting to frequent moves and changes of duty assignments, military benefits, retirement issues and the like. I relate to my military clients in a way that breeds confidence that I understand and appreciate their unique needs. For my business owning clients, I recognize their driven personalities and creativity and can match their energy to help achieve their goals in the most efficient way forward.I provide unique value to my clients in that I am relatable, have a diverse background, and spot issues quickly. Specializing in family law has provided the opportunity to focus my business and practice area. I have developed and taught continuing education courses to other attorneys, mentored younger attorneys, taught at the university level, and have participated on panel discussions as well as guest speaker.I chose family law as a natural progression of my diverse life experiences. Upon the return to the Hampton Roads area after my spouse retired from the military, I was drawn to use my experiences to aid other families whose lives were changing.
