She worked at the world renowned St. Jude Children\'s Research Hospital for the majority of her research career and is currently working at her alma mater, The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Kimberly obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Christian Brothers University. Immediately following graduation, she was accepted into the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she earned her Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences. Following obtaining her Masters, Kimberly earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Outcomes and Policy Research from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Kimberly is also an entrepreneur with her business Houston Consulting, LLC. Kimberly has served as a member of The Endocrinology Society and is currently a member of Alpha Kappa Psi National Business Fraternity, the National Association of Professional Women, a State Mentor with TNAchieves, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. She is most excited using her experience and skills to impact her community and positively impact the world!
