Kimberly’s journey in finance began over a decade ago in Maryland, driven by a passion for building deep, trusting relationships with clients. She quickly moved into advisory roles and thought her career has developed an intimate understanding of the nuanced challenges affluent advisors face. Whether navigating the aftermath of a business sale, orchestrating complex wealth transfers, or guiding clients through the emotional and financial terrain of sudden wealth events like divorce or inheritance, Kimberly’s experience positions her to not only truly understand and solve the sophisticated problems that come with significant wealth, but to deliver the elevated level of service and strategy thinking these clients require. As a Lead Advisor at Illumination Wealth, Kimberly serves as a wealth advocate for business owners, entrepreneurs, and wealth creators navigating complex financial landscapes. She brings deep expertise in wealth transfer, asset protection, and charitable giving, always emphasizing that the financial plan should guide the investment strategy. Kimberly earned her MBA from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business and previously served as NexGen Director for the National Financial Planning Association.Now based in La Grange, TX, Kimberly is actively involved in her community as a Lions Club member and docent at Festival Hill Institute. When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find her sailing, traveling to new destinations, or occasionally learning how to work cattle on the ranch.
