About Kimberly Busiek

As a former scientist (12 years exp.) and Product Management and Marketing leader (10 years exp.), I thrive on developing and marketing products that positively impact the world. In my current role at Roche, I am leading the global commercialization efforts for the Roche sequencer (AXELIOS 1), including the go-to-market strategy, creative concept, promotional strategy, regional/affiliate preparedness, resource planning, commercial training, and brand development. Before Roche, at both Illumina and Baylor Genetics, I managed the highest-revenue, flagship product lines and worked well under pressure to address urgent product issues. I have served as the marketing lead for several product launches at both companies (including the NovaSeq X platform) and have also built, led, and grown product management teams at each. Additionally, I have defined future product roadmaps and strategies that leverage innovative new technologies and address customer and business needs. I am happy to connect with other product management and marketing professionals, scientists, and entrepreneurs to share ideas, struggles, and victories. Please feel free to reach out to me to get the conversation started!
