About Kimberly Beck

After nearly 15 years practicing law, Kimberly Beck opened Beck Law Center, with the goal of prosecuting mass tort cases against pharmaceutical companies without making her clients feel like just a number. Kim prides herself on her open communication with her clients and easy accessibility. Kim started out on the defense, mostly defending pharmaceutical cases in product liability claims. After about 13 years of practice, she switched sides and started working for a large plaintiffs\' firm, where she oversaw a legal team responsible for nearly clients. When she was a defense attorney, Kim drafted motions that resulted in the mass torts being consolidated in her client’s preferred district court, filed successful dismissal motions as well as motions for summary judgment, and argued before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. As a plaintiff’s attorney, she uses the same skill-set to represent individuals who have been injured physically and financially. Kim feels that her experience representing defendants gives her special insight into the arguments and strategy of her opponents. Kim has taken an active role in various of aspects mass tort litigation including work on a number of established MDLs and matters for which MDL treatment was being sought before the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. She has appeared in state court mass litigation proceedings and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, Kim is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia, as well as the Sixth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Kim has been recognized in the industry as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2010, and she has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell every year since 2015.She has spoken and written for regional and national organizations on discovery, procedural issues, FDA findings, and preemption.
