ABOUT KIMBERLY ZUNKER
I have been working in the laboratory field for the last 16 years. After spending 3 years in a fantastic civilian lab, I applied for and received my commission in the United States Air Force. I served for four and a half years. I learned a great deal about leadership as well as laboratory management. Upon leaving the Air Force, I returned to laboratory bench work while pursuing my Master\'s degree. In the process of earning my MBA, I realized that I love the business aspect of the lab. My passion is Change Management, Process Improvement, Quality Management, and Lab Design. I want to help every lab excel in every aspect, from test utilization and lean space design to supply chain optimization and outreach decisions. I believe that by improving efficiencies throughout the lab, we can optimize the business of the hospital laboratory while improving the quality of our results for our patients and providers.
