As a Recruiter at DTE Energy, I have many responsibilities, which include:Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.Develop and maintain key relationships with outside Recruiters, internal and external candidates and with professional organizations and other sources of applicant referral. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.Develop a pool of well-qualified candidates for first level evaluation by screening resumes, interviewing internal and external candidates and maintaining contact with agencies and staffing firms as needed.Fulfill strategic recruitment and public relations activities, which include attending job fairs, attending professional networking events, etc. Interview and assesses candidates based on needs defined by department hiring managers.Utilize resume and applicant tracking software to identify, track and retrieve resumes/ candidates.Prepare reports on recruitment activity as required by Federal and state law.Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of Company policy. Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities.Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-Art recruiting practices.
