About Kimberly Willis
As a former rower on a women\'s crew team on Lake Merritt in Oakland, California, North America’s first wildlife refuge, I had a front row seat to the ugly and toxic effects of pollution. The jarring juxtaposition between seeing trash line the shores each morning, yet recognizing this ecosystem was intended to be a safe haven for over 140 species of migratory birds inspired me to become an Environmental Litigator that works to protect natural resources. Now, I\'m channeling my passion towards protecting one of earth’s most important natural resources, the atmosphere, from climate-destabilizing levels of greenhouse gas emissions. I want to ensure our youth and future generations will continue to have a livable planet.
