I am a Speech/Language Pathologist for Adams 12 School District. I work at Tarver Elementary school. I provide speech/language therapy for K-5 students. My school also has a significant support needs program in which I am in the Speech/Language Pathologist for and focus on using augmentative alternative communication using low tech and high tech devices. I currently mentor new SLP\'s in the district, supervise Clinical Fellows for ASHA certification, and also supervise a SLPA. Throughout my career I have supervised graduate students and SLPA interns.Along with my Speech/Language Pathology duties I am the Chair of the Special Education Department at Tarver Elementary. I am in charge of scheduling IEP meetings, reporting news back to my team from the district level, and adhering to state compliance for our school. I have also been the lead Elementary SLP for Adams 12 School District in which I have planned professional development, developed and led summer book studies for SLP\'s and other Special Education District staff members, and facilitated monthly meetings for Adams 12 District Elementary SLP\'s.
