I am currently the Claims Manager for the Living Benefits Department at Munich Re, and have over 21 years of Individual Disability Insurance experience. I joined Munich Re in July 2012 as an Account Representative. Prior to Munich Re, I worked for Disability Management Services, Inc.(DMS) as a Director of Claims. In addition to my IDI claims experience I also have a financial background and previously worked in public accounting for PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in Audit and Tax Accounting. With my extensive knowledge of financial information, I provide training on how to analyze financial documentation in relation to disability claims for my clients.I earned my certification as a Certified Public Accountant in 1997 and I am also licensed in the State of New York as an Independent Insurance Adjuster. Additional designations held: Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI), Associate Life and Health Claims (ALHC) and Associate Reinsurance Administration (ARA).
