About Kimberly Sendelbach
Kimberly Sendelbach graduated from the University of Missouri in December of 2022 with her Master\'s in Accountancy and Bachelor\'s of Science in Accountancy. While studying in the Trulaske College of Business, she worked with professors, teaching assistants, and other students to accomplish her goal of earning her CPA. Kimberly believes that her hard work and dedication to her studies allowed her to prepare for the CPA exam. She was able to pass all four parts of the CPA examination on the first try. By earning her CPA, she trusts that there will be countless opportunities and career paths for her to explore in the working world. Kimberly gained professional experience through internships with Ernst & Young and State Farm. She worked for Ernst & Young during the winter of 2022 and summer of 2022. She gained valuable experience in filing extensions, helping audit teams with tax provisions, and filing returns through her work with a large variety of clients. Kimberly worked at State Farm during the summers of 2020 and 2021 as a Risk and Compliance Agency Intern and a Finance/Accounting Intern where she produced process documentation, analyzed two months of financial statements, and completed nine state tax returns for State Farm Bank this summer. Kimberly worked part-time at the Mizzou Rec as a Member and Guest Services Auditor during her undergraduate studies. Some of her tasks at the Mizzou Rec included running daily audits and presenting weekly reports to leadership. During Kimberly’s time as a Member and Guest Services Auditor, she was awarded the Kelly Needham Journey Award, one of the eight top-tier awards given out to honor employees for their dedication to Team Mizzou. She has also earned her spot on the Trulaske College of Business’s Dean’s list each semester of her undergraduate studies. Kimberly also graduated with the honor of Summa Cum Laude.
