Provides source selection support and ensures competitive bidding to all procurement requests for goods and services. Coordinates with requestor/end user to obtain necessary information to complete the source selection documentation as part of an approved Purchase Requisition package. Monitors purchasing transactions to ensure timely delivery of equipment or services. Conducts vendor due diligence and ensures accuracy especially in case of vendor payment changes. Assists with the vendor evaluation performance process to ensure compliance with ISO quality control requirements. Acts as a backup to other buyers. Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Purchasing Manager.
