Kim is an integral member of the JLT Re Analytics division, joining in early 2015 with a focus in Catastrophe Modeling, Research, and Risk Management Analytics. Kim is an expert in the field of catastrophic weather, and has developed analytical solutions for the re(insurance) market, to increase profitability, reduce exposure to risk, and help develop economic resiliency. Her current role is not only in client services and analytics, but also in research and development, most notably as the lead developer of a proprietary wildfire risk model. She is a frequent speaker at industry and academic conferences, where she enjoys educating and collaborating with her colleagues to help bridge the gap between science, data and solutions.
