I love to personally own, collect, touch, research, discover, admire and sell all beautiful treasures from the past. I always felt drawn to the items in people\'s curio cabinets and the beautiful patterns of porcelain and glass on display or in their kitchen cabinets. I want to know their stories and learn the history of their origin. What stories could these items tell about what they have witnessed or shared in their lifetime? Who owned this? Where did it come from? Is it historical? Is it local to me? Since I was a little girl in the late 1970s and 1980s through my teenage years of the 1990s. all the way to recent date of 2014 being married in a barn (that I decorated from my passion for these treasures) I always had an intense \"need to know\" curiosity about these older items. I would see things when visiting my older relatives and wonder why they were treasured or valuable. I am sure I annoy everyone with all of my questions! Well, fast forward to 2019, after a very successful career as a Retail Store Manager I have decided to change my career path. I have had my small business owner license for over one year now and opened my shop which taught me alot more. I am a PACC Certified Appraiser (graduate of Asheford Institute of Antiques) I offer a variety of services. I learn something new EVERY SINGLE DAY! I want to educate people I meet along the way and help everyone understand why we want to preserve these items for future inquisitive children just like me.
