ABOUT KIMBERLY PETERIE

I possess a Master\'s in Healthcare Administration and my Bachelor\'s in Science of Nursing. My leadership journey in healthcare began 20 years ago. I Love challenges and the opportunity to learn and grow. I have had amazing opportunities to serve in various roles. Since 2019, I have served at one of the country\'s largest HealthCare Systems: Community Health System. I am a Corporate Regional Director over the Surgical Service Line; with a focus on operational strategy and growth of service line, culture of safety, Data Predictive Analytics, leader mentorship, and coworker engagement. A large part of my career was based at a Non-For- Profit Level 1 Trauma Center. I began as a frontline nurse on a Medical Surgical inpatient floor. My talent in Leadership allowed me to grow in various roles: Supervisor of Eye Laser Center, Urgent Care, Assistant Director of Special Procedures, Regional Director of Quality & Accreditation, Administrative Director; Executive Director of Clinical Services and Corporate Leadership and Service. I am known for my strategic operational leadership and ability to engage challenging work forces. I have experience with large Health Systems, Community Markets, Ambulatory Settings and Critical Access Hospitals in Surgical Services, Procedural Departments, and Quality, Patient Safety and Regulatory initiatives. Additionally, I have a competitive spirit and I am passionate about serving the youth through sports in the community that I live in. My husband and I sponsor many of the children to play so that they can develop confidence and their hearts and minds can be inspired.
