Selected to join a cohort of 300 scholars out of 1500+ nationwide applicants to take part in a 6 year academic program focused on academic and professional success.Participated in two summer academies at Thrive’s partner colleges: Amherst College and The University of Chicago. Experienced college preparation and career exploration through Thrive’s implemented programs. Throughout the two 6 week programs, I attended intensive math (Calculus 2 and Multivariable Calculus) and writing (Rhetoric and Tech Writing) courses taught by professors across the country.
