About Kimberly Michele
My journey began as a NY > NC transplant where, as a young girl searching for belonging, I found comfort in creativity. Candle making became my quiet refuge; a way to bring light into dark moments and create beauty when I felt unseen. That spark turned into Sincerely Candle Company, a brand I founded in 2009 that now serves both retail customers and wholesale partners across the country. After studying Biochemistry at UNCG, life invited me down a different path when I became a mother. I pressed pause on academia to raise my children, homeschool, and grow a business that could support my family; financially and spiritually. That decision has allowed me to live a life aligned with my values, combining service, creativity, and faith. Today, I’m completing my certification in Aromatherapy through the American College of Healthcare Sciences (Jan 2026 graduation), expanding my expertise to develop high-integrity, clean-scented candles that do more than smell good; they transform space, inspire stillness, and invite intentional living. Sincerely Candle Company has been a sustaining flame in my life. It’s my mission to help others, especially budding entrepreneurs and youth, find their own light and walk confidently in their purpose.
