1. Instructional Designer & Course Developer

   It\'s A Military Life

   I am part of a team of volunteers committed to supporting military spouses and significant others in finding competitive employment as well as meaningful and fulfilling opportunities at home and through volunteering.| I write new objectives and design online training in an LMS-based 10-week cohort immersion program. I am responsible for collaborating with teammates to transform existing materials from the previous pilot program to provide a foundation for MILSO career opportunities. I am also a contributing writer focused on successful navigation of the challenges and celebrations of the military lifestyle.| Over the course of approximately 10 months, I’ve worked with nonprofit founder Christina Etchberger through the designation of the nonprofit organization It’s a Military Life Corporation, with major emphasis on It’s a Military Connection – Cohort Immersion. I have expanded the program by at least 66% and more than doubled the content. Through focused marketing efforts, I have helped to recruit more than 20 resource partners and 24 participants. Most importantly, the level of development has allowed the nonprofit to deliver a career fair as a culminating activity, more closely aligning to the learning goal and outcome of the course.
