About Kimberly Crocker

I\'m a trusted Consultant for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Office within TransUnion and Culture Engagement Enthusiast. Working here has taught me to keep a customer-centric attitude at the forefront of everything I do whether internal or external to the organization. My primary line of work within the DE & I team is supporting the success of our Inclusion and Belonging Groups and the DE & I Council in their programing as they help to make TransUnion a more inclusive organization. We provide our employees a place to grow, have their voices be heard, and be seen. These initiatives keep employees engaged and excited to come to work. My previous projects have assisted our Kentucky office as one of Kentucky\'s Best Places to Work for six years in a row.During my time at TransUnion have grown to be a leader who constantly finds ways to enhance the culture of our company. Some accomplishments over the years have included training newly hired employees, enabling my organization skills to improve lines of businesses, and being recognized as a high performer with the Circle of Excellence award. I\'m a proud University of Louisville alumna with a Bachelors in Communications and Minor in English. Since then I\'ve taken part in community initiatives with the Ignite Louisville Program, Dress For Success, and various programs with Kingdom Fellowship Christing Life Center. Support the DEI Director as well as the Executive team with projects and initiatives that implement our overall DEI strategy for the organization. During our inaugural year I\'ve worked alongside our DE & I Director to establish the building blocks of our program. Some highlights include- Launching three Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and establishing processes, documentation, and programming that will prepare each group for future success. In addition, these opportunities helped to inspire and develop our employees to become better leaders within the organization- Hosting events alongside our DE & I Council that encourage brave discussions such as Civic Dinners, a CEO Book Club, and a LGBTQ+ Allyship Training Session- Providing guidance and acting as a liaison for all ERG management teams offering insight for yearly goals and programming- Completing monthly analyses for reporting ERG membership metrics against segments of the employee population (departments, global locations, etc.) and presenting to management and Executives- Maintaining a budget for DEI Council and ERGs- Creating and regularly maintaining an ERG playbook outlining the purpose, guidelines, governance, and processes for long term sustainability- Creating a process and project plan to create an ERG Management Committee. This involved establishing a Review Committee, interview, and selection process, along with supporting documentation- Crafting content for the organization’s intranet highlighting DEI activities and initiatives. This includes, but not limited to flagship month events, noteworthy holidays, and ERG volunteer opportunities- Assisting with global swag distribution across the organization
