   I work with the Kentucky Division of Conservation under the Energy and Environment Cabinet. Within this role I cover 17 county conservation districts and assist the USDA NRCS with technical assistance in those counties. My duties include- Managing the statewide environmental grant program- Creating media documents such as flyers and tabloids for county use- Interpreting the Farm Bill and other state laws or policies as needed-Assisting with State Cost Share technical assistance including writing KY Nutrient Management Plans-Attending County Conservation District board meetings to deliver relevant trainings and information-Managing deadlines, budgets, and applications for state and federal programs-Participating in educational outreach events- Assisting with USDA NRCS programs including providing technical assistance and program interpretation
