Engine Responsibilities:• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify engine-related issues: misfires, poor performance, unusual noises, warning lights.• Perform engine repairs: cylinder head repairs, valve adjustments, timing belt replacements, address internal component issues.• Diagnose and resolve fuel injection system problems: fuel pumps, fuel lines, and filters for proper fuel delivery and combustion.• Troubleshoot ignition system components: spark plugs, ignition coils, control modules for optimized engine performance.• Address emission control system issues: catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.• Perform comprehensive engine overhauls or rebuilds: disassembly, inspection, replacement of worn parts, reassembly.• Suspension / Chassis Responsibilities:• Use diagnostic tools to identify suspension-related problems: uneven tire wear, alignment issues, vibrations, handling concerns.• Conduct wheel alignments using precision equipment: proper suspension angles, optimal tire-road contact, enhancing stability, tire longevity.• Repair and replace suspension components: struts, shock absorbers, control arms, bushings, ball joints, sway bars, for comfort and handling.• Diagnose and repair air suspension systems in luxury German vehicles: ensure accurate height adjustment, ride quality.• Address steering components: power steering pumps, steering racks, tie rods, columns, preserve precise steering response.• Thoroughly inspect chassis and suspension components: identify wear, corrosion, potential safety issues.• Install aftermarket suspension components or performance enhancements: consider compatibility, proper alignment.• Work with electronic systems related to suspension: adaptive damping, stability control, electronic power steering.• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to customers: emphasize suspension maintenance\'s importance for safety and vehicle performance.
