ABOUT KIMBERLEY DAVIES

I am a family law specialist passionate about supporting my clients to the next chapter in their lives. I am a Partner at Trethowans and head of our Poole office. I also manage the family team in our Poole and Bournemouth offices. I specialise in all aspects of family law and am qualified to advise couples together -One Couple One Lawyer divorce. I am also an accredited family mediator.I help clients with all aspects of family law including divorce and dissolution, children law matters (including complex contact disputes and allegations of harm), financial cases (including cases where there are family businesses, substantial pension assets and inherited wealth), pre-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and cohabitation agreements and disputes.In addition I have expertise in helping people with the legal issues they should consider when embarking on assisted reproduction, including donor agreements, co-parenting agreements and surrogacy (both in the UK and abroad). I also have experience in private law adoptions, both domestic and international.Previous clients have said that I am supportive, approachable and will always put my client’s interests first. I ensure I keep my clients informed throughout and I\'m proactive in achieving the desired outcome as efficiently as possible.I am also the Chair of Dorset Resolution and as a member of Resolution I subscribe to a code of conduct which encourages a non-confrontational approach to family problems.
