Assistant Director at a cutting edge (technology, treatment types and fractionations) Radiation Oncology department. Duties include:Oversite of multi-disciplinary staff and daily operations including staff performance, the creation, implementation and maintenance of standard work to ensure effective and efficient processes for patient treatment, imaging protocols and clinical trial programs. Manage all administrative, technical, clerical and clinical operations to ensure quality, access and budgetary goals are achieved. Fiduciary, quality, safety and regulatory oversight. Partners with union leaders and staff to resolve HR and labor relations. In partnership with our Physician and Physics department leaders, participation in the planning of major facilities construction, technology enhancements and smaller departmental renovation projects. Accountable for adherence to state and federal rules & regulations on safety and QA. Direct reports include RTTs, Nursing, SW, Nutritionists, Physician Assts, clerical and support staff. Responsible for hiring and training of new staff as well as mentorship and promotion of current employees.
