ABOUT KIMBERLEE GLINKA

I’ve built my career at the intersection of sustainability ambition and business reality—where climate goals meet operational constraints, and where progress depends on someone who can translate, connect, and move things forward. That’s the work I’m most energized by.With a background in business and dual Master of Science degrees in Integrated Science & Technology and Sustainable Environmental Resource Management, I’m comfortable moving between commercial strategy and technical depth. I’ve advised C‑suites, partnered with product teams, and helped corporate leaders understand both the opportunities and the trade‑offs inherent in transition. At Tate, I’m responsible for advancing our sustainability agenda through a commercial strategy that accelerates adoption of Low Embodied Carbon (LEC) solutions. By working closely with our Commercial, Procurement, and Marketing teams, I’m focused on driving broader uptake of sustainable offerings and supporting Tate’s goal of enabling a net‑zero built environment.Across every role I’ve held, the through‑line remains the same: using the tools of business to deliver measurable, lasting impact for people and planet—grounded in clarity, collaboration, and integrity. What I’m known for• Translating complex climate and nature-based concepts into clear, actionable business value• Navigating multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales with trust, patience, and curiosity• Managing RFPs, proposals, and pipelines from first conversation through contract close• Building relationships across technical, commercial, and executive teams• Thriving in ambiguity, new markets, and collaborative, mission-driven environmentsI believe the best outcomes come from asking better questions, listening for what truly matters, and showing up consistently for the long game.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, hiking, listening to live music, and hanging out with my Great Pyrenees mix, Millie. I also love getting my hands dirty. I’m certified in Permaculture Design and have transformed our suburban property into a space for growing food, supporting wildlife, and strengthening local ecology. Our home landscape is Bay‑Wise certified and was featured in the 2023 Cool Springs Press Book Growing an Edible Landscape. If you’re working to make sustainability real, actionable, and aligned with business value, I’d love to connect.
