About Kimber Connors
I have the distinct privilege of leading the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS). The mission of WSOS is to build pathways into high-demand Washington careers for Washington students. We seek to reduce barriers to education and training while maximizing the state’s return on investment and responding strategically to workforce needs through private sector collaboration. As a skilled strategist with a solution-centric approach, I thrive when developing high-level vision and then bringing it to life by optimizing processes for effective and efficient implementation. My background in business administration, education policy and program evaluation coupled with my experience as a classroom teacher are what bring me fire in the belly for this work.
