I am chair of the firm\'s Insurance Recovery and Counseling team. I have over 20 years\' experience handling a wide variety of complex insurance matters, including negotiating and litigating disputed claims under general liability, umbrella/excess, products liability, builders\' risk, employment practices liability, pollution legal liability, directors and officers, professional liability, errors and omissions, cyber and data breach, fiduciary, fire, commercial auto, uninsured and underinsured motorist, and first-party property policies, among others. Additionally, I often work with clients (and their brokers) to review coverage and negotiate more favorable terms at renewal; conduct insurance archeology and establish evidence of missing or incomplete policies; and resolve claims involving insolvent insurers in liquidation. I also have experience recovering reinsurance and statutory deposits and I am a frequent lecturer and author on all types of insurance issues.
