I have always been passion about helping others. Throughout my 30-year career in the non-profit sector, I continually worked to strengthen communities and help people reach their full potential. Now I\'m using my experiences and skills to help nonprofits create structure and leadership that will allow them to thrive!Nonprofit organizations exist to solve critical social issues in our communities. That is important and challenging work! Leaders cannot, and should not, tackle it alone. Developing a strong and healthy Board of Directors that is right for your organization is key to success.At Athena we help nonprofit leaders to curate Boards of Directors that will drive impact, financial stability, and long-term organizational sustainability. We believe that a significant value nonprofits provide is engaging more people in caring about the issues facing our communities.By creating a Board of Superheroes organizations will increase their mission impact, engage more people in helping with their cause, and ensure that the organization will be able to do their great work long after the founder has stepped away.I am originally from Iowa, and love being active in the outdoors, live music, art, and reading.
