Responsible for overall team performance as it relates to quality, production & administrative compliance. Responsible for assisting field investigators conduct background investigations for employment suitability & security clearance determinations that may involve substantial difficulty in resolving conflicts in facts or evidence & complexity imposed by the subject of the investigations. Responsible for monitoring & tracking field investigators work load & progress of investigations assigned & assist in zoning of case work to ensure statistical performance requirements are met based on established performance goals. Responsive to program management regarding case timeliness, report quality, time cards, promotions, rate increases & disciplinary actions. Utilize knowledge of investigative techniques & knowledge of laws, rules, & regulations, serves as an intermediary & advocate between, upper management, the security department, the training, the human resource department & other departments & team members. Responsible for communicating objectives & directives from CACI & OPM. Responsible for communicating all new OPM policies & guidelines. Assist in facilitating career paths.
