ABOUT KIM HIGGINBOTTOM

I am a high performing and driven CF APMP accredited Proposals Professional who is passionate about successfully delivering compelling tenders and the challenge that this brings competing at the forefront of industry. I manage work winning activities, supporting Accenture to secure strategic opportunities as part of the bid lifecycle. I am conscientious, dynamic and strive to perform to the best of my ability to achieve success. Organisational skills and strong attention to detail are my key strengths. I am a pro-active and adaptable individual, able to work autonomously but with the capability to excel in a collaborative team environment.I was first introduced to Proposals Management and the work-winning process in my role as Bid Coordinator for Atkins (Infrastructure) as part of a multi-disciplinary team and I haven\'t looked back since. I have developed from a Bid Coordinator, honed my skills as a Bid Writer and seek to continuously improve quality by challenging best practice as a Bid Manager.Working for a Design, Project Management and Engineering Consultant I enjoyed producing tenders for schemes with the potential to create a lasting legacy in the Built Environment. Working for Main Contractors I then gained valuable insights into successful project delivery in the construction phases and an appreciation for the full construction lifecycle. Contributing towards schemes that have progressed from what was initially a proposal/tender; a shared vision with the client for how we can utilise great design and innovations to shape our future environments, is something I feel proud to be a part of. This is what drives me to continue to challenge myself as a Proposals Professional.
