ABOUT KIM EDWARDS

As the General Manager at Carl Wright Training Services Ltd, I am responsible for managing and growing a training business that provides health and safety training for various sectors, such as offshore, construction, and engineering. I have been in this role since Jan 2024, and I am passionate about delivering high-quality training that meets the needs of our clients and enhances the skills of their teams. Before joining Carl Wright Training, I worked as a General Manager at SKC Leisure Ltd for over 13 years, where I gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry, managing hotels, catering services, and events. I have a Personal Licence issued by Berkshire County Council, which enabled me to oversee the sale and supply of alcohol at our venues. I also have skills in networking and team training, which I use to build relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers, and to motivate and develop our staff. I enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new things, which is why I decided to switch careers and join the training industry. I am grateful for the opportunity and the trust that Carl Wright gave me, and I am eager to learn the business as I go. I am also a mother of five and a grandmother of 15, so I have a busy and fulfilling family life. I value loyalty, professionalism, and quality, and I strive to reflect these values in my work and personal life.
