Experienced Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Registered Dietitian and Approved Supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in the field of eating disorders, health and wellness for over 20 years. Currently serving as the President, iaedp Heartland Chapter since 2017. Skilled in public speaking to iaedp, Illinois Department of Public Health, South Suburban Dietetic Association, Western Suburban Dietetic Association, NAMI, Fox Valley Depression Group, Radio AM 1480, various conferences and associations, various hospitals, universities, colleges, and high schools. Written various nutrition articles for the Daily Herald. Work experience in outpatient, inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient with the ages of children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Owner of private practice and provides individual and group counseling for eating disorders, nutrition, wellness and all medical issues. Guest instructor since 2005 for the graduate students at Northern Illinois University for their Certificate Program in Eating Disorders and Obesity. Strong business development professional with a Master\'s degree focused in Health Education and Counseling from Governors State University and a Bachelor\'s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Science from Northern Illinois University. Certified Eating Disorders Specialist Registered Dietitian and Approved Supervisor through the International Association of Eating Disorders for Professionals. Recently voted onto the Board of Directors for International Association for Eating Disorders for Professionals
