WORK HISTORY
First Year Practicum @Pittsburgh Public Schools
In a public elementary school serving K–1 students, I provide Tier 2 targeted academic interventions in early literacy and foundational math within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. I implement small-group and individualized supports and collect and analyze progress-monitoring data, including curriculum-based measurements (CBM), to guide data-based decision-making and evaluate student responsiveness to intervention. My work focuses on strengthening foundational literacy skills, including phonemic awareness, letter-sound correspondence, and CVC decoding, as well as building early numeracy skills such as number sense, basic computation, and math fact fluency. I collaborate with classroom teachers to review student performance and identify targeted skill areas for intervention. I strive to foster a structured and supportive learning environment that promotes engagement, confidence, and meaningful skill development.
