Design and update curriculum for all Network Engineering and Administration courses. Teach classes in server installation and administration, network concepts and hardware maintenance, computer repair and customer service. Guide students to learn basic computer and network technology emphasizing security, topologies, segments and backbones. This includes network protocols and in-depth knowledge of the OSI Model. Provide practical training on the advantages and disadvantages of cabling options for LAN and WAN networks, hubs, bridges, repeaters and other transmission media. Teach how to plan and implement networks, interoperability with other network operating systems, TCP/IP, troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrading of a network.
