About Kim Beswick

At Origami Solar, I am focused on creating a stronger domestic solar industry in the US and other regions outside of China. While US investment in solar module manufacturing will soon meet the needs of domestic demand for our lowest cost energy source, Solar, it\'s critical for industry health and security that we focus on on-shoring the entire solar supply chain. Origami builds high-value, low-cost steel module frames in the US, bringing necessary improvements in strength, significant reductions in GHG\'s and completely eliminating foreign supply chain risk. We add value now and have patented ideas to accelerate this value in the future. I\'m excited to be a part of this important transition to a healthy, sustainable and secure domestic solar My History At Memjet I focused on identifying valuable market segments, creating new go-to-market strategies, and developing disruptive B2B partnerships in a transforming industrial print market.** Strategist ** Finding the “right” path to growth is as much about understanding YOUR value and potential to create value, as it is about understanding trends and market dynamics. Ultimately the only valuable strategy is one that is executed on. I’m experienced at driving cross-organization strategy, alignment, communication, and implementation in technology-based businesses.** Growth Driver ** I’m a go-to-market leader focused on finding, evaluating and driving profitable growth through focused sales activities, development of strategic partnerships, and creation and optimization of business models.** Win-win Partnerships ** At Memjet, partnerships were critical to revenue/profit growth. With my team, I developed and managed partnerships across the globe, implemented market-based, partner-centered business models, and managed the success of our partnerships through proactive management of both our common and divergent objectives.** The Power of Alignment ** It’s amazing what happens when an organization is aligned with a common understanding of direction, purpose, and contribution. There can be a natural friction between departments roles in an organization. When departments know their purpose, understand their specific contribution, and collaborate across the organization with curiosity and respect, the outcome can be efficiency, flow, quick decisions and issue resolution. I’m a natural bridge-builder, problem solver, and collaborative communicator.
