I have spent more than 20 years working in the water sector, across public utilities, private development, large infrastructure delivery, and now public company governance.Because I have worked on all sides of the table, I tend to get involved when projects are complicated, politically visible, or starting to drift from their original intent. Often that drift shows up as misaligned incentives, poorly understood risk, or delivery models that look right on paper but struggle in practice.Much of my work focuses on alternative delivery and collaborative models, not as ideology, but as tools. When they work, they create transparency, shared accountability, and better long term outcomes. When they fail, it is usually because governance and decision rights were not clearly defined early.I currently serve on the board of a publicly traded water company, where my focus includes strategy, regulatory context, and enterprise risk. Across roles, my value is less about technical design and more about judgment shaped by experience, including the lessons learned when things did not go as planned.
