About Kim Barber
As the current Director of Safety Management, I am responsible for overseeing and improving the company\'s safety performance and culture, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. I collaborate with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to develop and execute strategic safety initiatives, policies, and programs that align with the company\'s vision and values. I also leverage my teaching experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Syracuse University to design and deliver engaging and effective safety training and education for the company\'s employees and contractors. Additionally, with my previous experience as a Director of Process Improvement and Project Management, I have developed and implemented innovative solutions to enhance the safety, quality, and productivity of the company\'s operations. I have also led and coached cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes for complex and challenging projects, using my Lean & Six Sigma Green Belt certification and my analytical and planning skills.
