About Kiley Hayward

Like any working mom, I wear multiple hats. In my professional life, I am both a Director at 104 West Partners and the CEO and Founder at Smile & Shine, a life and wellness coaching consultancy I launched in 2020 to help working moms develop healthy habits so they can find their purpose and live their best life. To wear these two specific hats has required my own journey of healthy habits, and personal and professional development to transform me into the leader I am today and the leader I am working to become.Ultimately, I’ve always known I was meant to do BIG things! We are all, after all, created for greatness. When I started my career, I rose very quickly through the ranks with some of the largest PR agencies in the world developing and executing media programs for some of the world\'s biggest tech brands including HP, Cisco, Equinix, NetApp and Western Digital. Fairly early on in my career, I got married and became pregnant with my first son. Since I was raised by a stay-at-home mom, I had no clue how to balance everything I had going on in my career and be a great mom and wife—I truly thought to succeed, I had to pick one, I couldn’t do both. However, that wasn’t an option. So while the world told me, “you can have it all – you just have to do it all,” I needed to figure out a balance—and like many working moms, I failed sometimes. But I also learned, and I’ve taken those lessons to help other women just like me while continuing to build my own successful career in communications. Today, at 104 West, my focus is on leveraging B2B tech trends to create meaningful ongoing media relations programs for our clients, and mentoring our staff in their own professional development. Making the move to 104 West helped me put everything in alignment – from work to home and my own business. We do PR differently here and that secret sauce makes the everyday grind feel more meaningful. Our tagline “Go Beyond” is showcased every day in the work we do for our clients as well as the support we extend to each other.
