About Kiersten Daley
I’m a dynamic and creative professional based in Philadelphia, PA (Go Birds!) with a passion for UX/UI research, data analytics, politics, graphic design, fashion, art, education, and social media. My journey began at Temple University, where I studied Advertising, but I ultimately chose to carve my own path by embracing real-world experiences that let me grow both personally and professionally.I build systems for people who were never fully considered in their design, including earlier versions of myself. As a first-generation professional from a primarily blue-collar family, my path into UX research and human-centered design has been anything but traditional, shaped by civic organizing, service work, and navigating institutions that often made access to education and opportunity more complicated than it needed to be. For a long time, the systems around me made going back to school feel out of reach financially and structurally, and that experience continues to shape how I think about equity, access, and thoughtful design. As a program manager working at the intersection of civic organizing, systems thinking, and storytelling, I focus on building scalable structures that help people navigate complex processes more intuitively. Whether coordinating large-scale grassroots programs or refining communication workflows, I’ve learned that the difference between confusion and clarity is often thoughtful design.Alongside my civic work, I’ve collaborated with brands such as Parade, Prada Beauty, About Face, and Good Molecules, creating digital storytelling that explores identity, culture, and audience connection. These experiences deepened my understanding of how visual language, narrative, and user perception influence the way people engage with digital spaces, which continues to inform my evolving UX practice.I believe professionalism can be curious, reflective, and human. If you’re interested in human-centered systems, civic tech, or conversations about building better structures without losing the story behind them, we’ll probably get along well. Whether you’re looking to collaborate, exchange ideas, or just chat (I can talk for hours!), don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to connect.
