About Kiernan McGeehan

I work as a Development Officer in the Midwest with Team IMPACT, a national nonprofit that tackles the social isolation and emotional trauma experienced by children facing serious and chronic illness by matching them with a local college athletics team.I first learned about Team IMPACT when I was matched through the organization while I competed on the varsity men\'s swim team at Xavier University. I fell in love with the organization and began working at the national office headquartered in Boston, MA in June of 2016. I moved to Chicago, IL as the Midwest Program Director in January 2020 to start our Midwest team and expand the program across the region. After nearly 10 years working on the program-side of Team IMPACT, I knew I wanted to contribute to the organization in a new way.As a development officer, I am responsible for developing and implementing donor-centric strategies to increase annual revenue from individuals, foundations, and corporations through major gifts, events, and prospect research. I am confident my experience and knowledge of our program makes me an exceptional fundraiser.
