About Kiernan Kelty
As an ecohydrologist, I perform project management, proposal writing, recruiting, technical project analysis, and field work for cbec. I currently work as a key hydraulic 1D-2D modeler, investigating floodplain connectivity opportunities, fish passage and habitat availability analyses, restoration alternatives, and ecological and flood protection enhancements for the floodplains reimagined project (https://floodplainsreimagined.org) and Little Egbert Tract. I also support and act as project manager for ongoing surface and groundwater monitoring projects in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Additionally, I assist with proposal writing and recruiting for the company.
