I believe business should always be personal. Whether I am meeting with a client, mentoring someone new to the industry, or developing technology behind the scenes, my focus is the same. I want to make things clearer, simpler, and more human.At my core, I am passionate about protecting people’s legacies and doing things properly. In a world where speed and shortcuts are often mistaken for efficiency, I believe there is value in slowing down and getting things right. Good advice cannot be rushed. Trust is something that must be earned over time, and the relationships we build in business should have as much integrity as the work we deliver. I have seen first-hand how a poorly advised will can leave families in a worse position than if nothing had been done at all. That experience has shaped the way I work and the way I lead.I have built my businesses from the ground up without external investment. Not because I thought it would be easy, but because I believe in laying strong foundations and keeping control of the values that matter. I value transparency. I value doing things ethically. And I believe putting clients first should be more than a slogan. It should be the standardBut business is not just about what you deliver. It is about how you deliver it. I believe real leadership comes from standing behind your work, being prepared to admit when you do not know something, and always focusing on finding a better way forward. Whether I am helping a client, guiding a team, or building technology to support others, my goal is the same. I want to make things easier for people. I want to remove unnecessary complexity. And I want to give people confidence in the decisions they make.I enjoy helping people find their feet in this industry and supporting them as they build careers based on professionalism, not sales targets. I believe estate planning done properly changes lives. My role, whether directly or through the consultants and businesses I support, is to help make that happen.Outside of work, you will usually find me problem-solving. Whether I am designing a better process, exploring ways to improve client experience, or reflecting on what could be done better, I am always looking for improvements. Not for the sake of innovation itself, but to ensure that the people we serve receive the best of what we can offer.If there is one principle that sums up how I work and how I lead, it is this. Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. That is what I expect from myself. And it is what I encourage in the people around me.
