ABOUT KIERAN CLAFFEY
Kieran Claffey is an investor in companies in a variety of industries. He is a retired partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He has extensive diversified experience serving multinational clients and dealing with litigation and regulatory issues. After joining PwC, Kieran worked in the assurance practice serving multinational clients in many different industries. He also assisted clients with mergers and acquisition transactions with a focus on due diligence, acquisition accounting and reporting. Kieran transferred to the national office to focus on complex litigation matters and regulatory related issues. He represented PwC on the Professional Issues Task Force of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (\"AICPA\") and the Technical Standards Subcommittee of the AICPA. In 2012 Kieran was elected to the global board of the PwC Business Trust where he served as Chairman for eight years. Kieran was also a Vice President and director of Madison Indemnity of NY, Inc. Kieran was a founding member and director of the Ireland Chamber of Commerce in the United States and a director of the European-American Chamber of Commerce. He was the National Treasurer, executive committee member and board member of the Ireland-U.S. Council. He is chairman of the finance committee, member of the executive committee and on the board of trustees of the Gateway School. The Gateway School provides a nurturing environment for students with learning disabilities. Kieran is chair of the audit committee and a member of the long term real estate strategy committee at Winged Foot golf club. He was a director of Legal Information of Families Today which seeks to enhance access to justice for children and families. Kieran has been recognized many times for his achievements by Irish America magazine in their annual Business 100 publication and the Wall Street 50. Born in Dublin, Kieran is a graduate of University College Dublin and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of NACD.
