I am strategically and politically astute Finance Director, experienced at Board / Executive level in high profile roles, with a strong track record of developing organisational strategies and operating models, delivering and managing through change, and linking financial planning and operations to strategy. I have worked in Local and Central Government, and in Infrastructure Delivery / Construction client organisations. My track record includes achievements in Strategy, Financial Strategy & Planning, Corporate Services / operations, technical accounting, and operational delivery roles.As a strategic thinker with a track record of successfully developing organisational strategy, and functional strategies (including Finance, HR, IT, Commercial, Estates). My passion is for forming and delivering strategic plans and linking financial planning to strategy, to improve delivery and enhance efficiency. Throughout my career I have developed excellent stakeholder and communication skills from roles that involved rolling out controversial policy / technical initiatives. I have a strong track record of building trusting working relationships with politicians of all parties and extensive experience of appearing before Parliamentary Select Committees.
