With over 27 years of experience in aviation operations, I am a seasoned leader serving as Aerodrome Manager at BAE Systems Warton. Appointed by the Accountable Manager, I lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless execution of military and civil flying operations. My leadership spans critical functions, including Fire Service, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Air Traffic Engineering (ATE), Aerodrome Operations, Aircraft Fuelling, and Habitat & Wildlife Management, with a primary focus on emergency planning and preparedness.As the lead for emergency planning, I develop and maintain the Aerodrome Emergency Plan (AEP), outlining protocols for managing incidents such as aircraft accidents, natural disasters, and security threats.
