As Regimental Cyber Training Lead I led the design and delivery of structured cyber training activity, including online lectures and practical sessions, ensuring training was accessible and effective for reservists with varied availability and experience. This involved managing a training budget, coordinating logistics, and optimising the use of paid Reserve Service Days to maximise attendance and training value.I worked with unit staff to schedule and resource training events, moving personnel as required and ensuring delivery met unit objectives while remaining realistic within reserve constraints. The role required clear communication, organisation, and leadership to deliver consistent outcomes without full-time availability.I later moved into an Engineering Support Troop role focused on hands-on cyber training and exercise development.In this position, I train soldiers in practical cyber skills and develop cyber exercise environments and ranges to support learning and collective training. I design realistic scenarios that allow personnel to practise technical tasks and decision-making in controlled environments, supporting readiness for exercises and wider defence cyber activity.This role combines technical engineering, instructional delivery, and exercise design, with a focus on repeatable, practical training rather than theory.
