ABOUT KIELAN L. M. BOURGAISE
I am a 1:1 law graduate and criminal paralegal with a strong interest in UK criminal law and the law of evidence - I am pursuing the Criminal BarI have been a top-performing student in multiple modules throughout my degree and was the highest-performing final-year student. I also finished at the top of my class in college, with distinctions in every module - My efforts were recognised via several academic prizes.In addition to my academics, I have made the most of every opportunity afforded to me throughout my degree. I have pursued rewarding and relevant extracurricular activities, which have only served to further my understanding of the Criminal Bar.As a result of my experiences, I have seen the full gamut of the criminal justice system - from the Bar to the Bench to the individuals charged, alongside building a solid foundation in advocacy.I am currently looking toward further building my legal experiences, specifically on the North-Eastern Circuit, with the view of securing a place on the BTC for 2027.
